Every song and every user can be reported from inside the app. You can also email us directly. Tell us the song title and creator name, or the user, and what the problem is.
Every creator must attest that they hold the rights to what they submit, that a human wrote the lyrics, and that they grant us a non-exclusive licence to air it. If you believe a song infringes your rights, email us with:
We remove infringing material and repeat infringers lose their accounts.
Submitted songs are screened and any strong language, sexual content or violent reference is tagged automatically. Tagged songs are not removed, they are labelled so you can decide. The free Guest tier does not receive explicit tracks.
Each genre station runs its own competition, split into a Singers lane and a Songwriters lane. Songs play in the order they were queued, listeners vote, and the top finishers climb from the competition floor to Top 40, Number Ones and Greatest Hits.
A song that receives heavy negative voting after enough votes is pulled automatically. That rule is applied by the system, not by staff. You get one second chance per song, which returns it to the back of the queue.

Purchases made through the App Store are handled by Apple under Apple's refund process. Submission fees are non-refundable, including when a song is rejected at screening. That is stated before you pay.
